My Poem Page
Choose-Your-Poison | Pictures Yo | Scenery Pics | My Poems

This is a page full of poems I have created myself. Read on and enjoy.
Within life itself, there are many paths we can choose to go down. I have went down many of those paths, been through alot of what people should never have to deal with in their lives. I take the time to write some things about my experiences, because I know so many of you feel the same way about many things. I hope some of these hit home, but if I cause too much emotional discomfort in anyone, I apologise. I just tell it like it is.

I shall be creating a page soon containing works from one of my best friends. You might see them in a book someday soon if you are an avid poet. Thank you once again.

This photo give you an idea of seclusion.
silence from within,
calm, serene, harmonic rhythms.
waves crashing from my soul,
upsetting the sandy beaches of tranquility.

disturbance, the ebb and flow,
bent, yet still unbroken.
knocking on the door of sanity,
strangers are not welcome here.

peace overwhelming,
slience gaining voice.
breaking the frame of self,
yet intact for those to see.

flowing are the voices,
time slows to wait again.
speeking clear in vision,
yet true sight is marred.

decisions unmade, making, breaking.
carefully stepping on the stones.
path that does not end,
insanity is not a home.

sights and sounds alure me,
distract from thought of self.
then i find a comfort,
within another, waiting, singing, wishing.

treasured are the memories,
fading fast, but alive and well.
doors opening to light,
step inside, and all is well.
This is a poem to all the Wallflowers like me out there.
High up in the mountains, I gracefully stand
low in the valley, I painfully deliver
within the wind, blows the crystal grains of sand
with the sound my voice, you are still, and you shiver...

On the face of the mountain, staring at the sky
I often wonder, if I jump, how far will I fly.
The length of the fall, gives me time to look around,
I call out, "anyone there?" but no one is around.
I face the North, and look in the sky,
I see there, Polaris, so then I ask why.
I turn to the South, and remember warm summer nights,
I think of my life, then I turn out the lights.

The happiness of my heart, rises in the East
the pain of my mind, sets in the West.
Who will be my champion, and slay the smiling beast
who will be my guide, and point me to the painful best.

The tables have turned, and now you are falling,
you look all around you, and thousands are calling.
The lights are still on, in the brightest on you,
but when you hit bottom, remember the few.

We are the ones, who help you through the day,
we are the ones, who hold your hand, all the way.
We are the ones, who tell you it's OK,
we are the ones, who gave a meaning to your name.

Wallflowers out there, stand and deliver!
We shall rise up, let our throat be our quiver!
Shooting arrows of emotions, pity, and greed!
Letting everyone know, we were truly the ones in need.

This one was written during a time when my heart was crushed.
A moment can be forever,
a moment can last awhile.
A moment can be a moment,
as long as I see you smile.

With the words flowing through my mind,
I speak the unspoken.
With open truth in the wind,
little did I know my heart would be broken.

Within a moment,
I felt afraid and confused.
Within a moment,
all my thoughts were of you.

My soul was opened,
to keep my thoughts clean and pure.
I hoped you opened yours,
because now, I am still unsure.

A moment, we were still.
Blink, and things can change.
A moment, we were together,
now things will never change.

Together may not be the answer,
but it can still be done.
Apart and alone forever,
and I still know you are the one.

A moment is just a moment,
a kiss is just a kiss.
In your arms forever,
these are the things that I miss.

This was a poem for a girl, whom felt that there is no good man, that no one else knows her pain.
These cold lonely nights,
winters heart breaks through.
without a warning, with fire alight,
I begin to think of you.

Within these cold walls, I hold the key to life.
When I think of all the fails.
I think of the years of constant strife,
And walk right down the hall.

Out the door and to the yard,
I'm in the garden now.
'Round the bend and through the meadow,
I cannot turn back right now.

I remember you and others,
as it was, and is ment to be.
the thought never once roamed my mind,
I'm now hanging from a tree.

With these last lights, I see your face,
hangin over me.
who'd a thought, that in this world,
we'd both find the same tree.

In the last seconds of my final breath,
I kissed your lips goodnight.
Then I wondered to myself,
Why should I end my life.

Then I cut the rope, that held me up,
Hanging from that same tree.
Remeber the time we took a walk,
it was the most important thing to me.

I climb the tree to save you too,
But I can see I'm already too late.
I close my eyes, and wipe the tears,
Then dream about our first date.

We stop the car, pull off the road,
and slowly you kiss my neck.
After that, I can't recall,
for I was kissing you back.

By now I've cut you down,
and now you're on your knees.
Poor little, lifeless girl,
You ruined your life for me.

If you would have told me sooner,
My life would still be gone.
But if I had been there before you,
Your life... would still... go on.....

Ever dream of that one person?
dream on girl
he came when you were dreaming
dream on girl
you love him while you're sleeping

you meet on a lonely day
a day of pain and sorrow
he takes all your cares away
in his hands he holds tomorrow

you look each other in the eye
you say the words complete
when in your heart you are both one
you hope it never ends

where we go the future holds
the train leads straight to him
you choose him over everyone else
but the first stop must be within

dream on girl
he came when you wern't looking
dream on girl
you see him when you're sleeping

Dream on girl
he knows that you are looking
dream on girl
you know that it's not working

you wake up and he's not there
yet in your dream he still sees you
he dreams of you while you still sleep
now you're in his dreams too

the question here is when they wake
will they see each other the same
he sees a girl he knows so well
and suddenly they remmeber their dreams

you look at him and remember
three words he said to you
he says he dreamed forever
that he heard those words too

dream on girl
he saw you while he was dreaming
dream on girl
but wait, you two are no longer dreaming

dream on girl
the timing's in your dreams
dream on girl
he'll be there when you wake

A rose for the one I adore.
I don't know the way
the path is unclear
with the clouds turning grey
I felt the end coming near

with the end of dawn
comes a day turn anew
when can I leave here
and never think of you

I care so much
but I try even less
the are just words on paper
but I'll let you try to guess

what does this mean
what am I trying to say
do you know what i'm saying
do you know I want to stay

there's a light in the ocean
it's signal burning bright
so where else should I go
but to swim towards the light

when you only see one
it's hard to turn around
swin back to the coast
and find some dry ground

it's safer to say
that I want to be alone
when really all I need
if for my heart to find a home

when will that day come?
